~80%resolved without a human, Aug 2026

Production CX support agents for one8 and Lotto

The problem
Lotto’s existing agent struggled to identify customers and find their orders. one8 had a major launch less than four weeks away and needed working customer support, not just a bot answering FAQs.
What I did
I rebuilt Lotto’s CX support agent and delivered one8’s production launch, from agent workflows to customer integrations and rollout. The agents could look up orders, process returns and exchanges, cancel orders and hand over to support staff with the conversation intact. I fixed customer identity across channels and cut tracking response time from about 12 seconds to 5 seconds.
Outcome
one8’s launch brought more than ten times the normal daily conversation volume. The agent handled most of it, leaving staff available for the launch. By August 2026, around 80% of conversations were being resolved end to end without a human.
2.5K+calls recorded across 11 agents

Unblocking Scaler’s calling integration

The problem
The calling integration had been stalled for two months. Scaler used C-Zentrix, but DevRev had no native connector. Support staff needed to take calls and see the learner’s ticket in one place.
What I did
I proposed a browser extension rather than waiting for a native connector. I’d never built one before, but had a working prototype in one evening. I then developed it into a Chrome extension that keeps the calling panel running inside DevRev and opens the learner’s ticket during a call. A server-side integration logs the call against the right ticket and handles duplicates.
Outcome
Live calls started in September 2026. The rollout recorded 2,500+ call sessions across 11 agents, without replacing Scaler’s existing phone system or commissioning custom work from its telephony vendor.

Learning Flutter to win a banking deal

The problem
An Indonesian bank wanted to see whether it could change its identity provider without changing the app its customers used.
What I did
Learned Flutter over a weekend and rebuilt the bank’s mobile UI against Auth0’s APIs. The team could try its familiar app with a different identity layer underneath.
Outcome
The bank signed. The demo also opened seven or eight similar mobile opportunities.
500K+city population served

ATL311, for the City of Atlanta

The problem
Atlanta residents needed access to city-service information outside staffed hours.
What I did
Built the conversational layer for ATL311 across the website, app and phone service. Residents could ask about services such as bin collections and permits at any time.
Outcome
The service was announced by Mayor Andre Dickens and made city information available around the clock to a population of more than 500,000.
UKfirst official skill

McDonald’s UK on Alexa

The problem
McDonald’s UK wanted an official presence on Alexa.
What I did
Built its first official Alexa skill for the UK market as an independent developer.
Outcome
One of the bespoke brand builds from my freelance years, alongside work for Sony Music, Girl Scouts of the USA and Reebok.
WebbyAward winner

Purell Assistant

The problem
GOJO Industries wanted to make hand-hygiene guidance available through voice.
What I did
Built Purell Assistant for GOJO Industries, the company behind Purell.
Outcome
Purell Assistant won a Webby Award in 2019.
GSoCopen-source contribution

An Alexa integration for Rocket.Chat

The problem
Make Rocket.Chat conversations accessible through voice commands.
What I did
Proposed and built an Alexa integration for Google Summer of Code 2019, with commands for reading and sending messages, navigating channels and searching.
Outcome
The project is open source in Rocket.Chat’s GitHub organisation. I returned as a GSoC mentor in 2020.

450K+monthly users

Wild Planet

The problem
Let children ask for an animal sound and hear it straight away.
What I did
Co-developed Wild Planet, a voice app with more than 500 animal sounds.
Outcome
It reached 450,000+ monthly users and 10M+ weekly interactions. Amazon India named it the most popular Alexa skill on Fire TV in 2020. In April 2024, a thirteen-year-old in Basti used its dog sounds to scare monkeys away while looking after a toddler; the incident was widely reported.

How I choose the work.

What I can learn matters to me when choosing a project or a role. I’ve written down a few working principles, with an optional demo of how a policy evaluates a request.
